Hello lovely clients,

Today marks the 4 month anniversary for rise Barre + Pilates! The time has passed so quickly, yet at the same time it feels like we’ve been around for much longer (mainly due to to the amazing community that has already been built around the studios). Just want to take a moment to tell you all how grateful I am for your energy and trust. Rise has grown a lot in the last 4 months - and I’m so excited to watch this community evolve in the new year. Speaking of evolve, we’ve got some exciting changes happening at rise in January. Please take a few minutes to read so you’ll be all up to date. Wishing you all a powerful start to this new year!

New class: Aerial Flow express

A 45 minute creative and dance inspired aerial class in the silk hammocks. Learn how to gracefully move in and out of the apparatus, and dance in the air! This class focuses on an ever-changing sequence to learn combinations, transitions, and build stamina. A portion of the class will also focus on body conditioning to increase strength and flexibility.

Our Wonder Women instructors Tracey & Bern will be sharing this class, alternating weeks.

Hot Pilates

An invigorating contemporary mat Pilates class with the heat set to 35°C and 40% humidity. The focus is on slow, controlled movements and proper form. This class initiates a detoxifying sweat that will help stimulate blood circulation and increase flexibility. Perfect for anyone is looking to strengthen the body as well as improve balance and coordination. Suitable for all fitness levels, and can be modified to accommodate different abilities and needs.

Hot Pilates HIIT

A high intensity, full-body workout that combines traditional Pilates exercises with heat and timed interval cardio exercises. Low impact, yet super challenging! Perfect for those looking to improve their overall strength, endurance, and flexibility. This class is suitable for all fitness levels. Held in a heated room of 35°C and 40% humidity - get ready to sweat out those toxins!

Warm slow barre & deep stretch

We crank up the heat and slow down the pace in this rejuvenating Barre class. The first half of the class moves through slow, dynamic reps of exercises derived from ballet and Pilates to strengthen the entire body. Low impact, but your muscles will definitely burn and shake! The last half of the class restores the body with a deep stretch session. A balanced class for all levels set in 28°C, no humidity.
