Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What are the class sizes at rise?

A: Our classes are designed to provide personalized attention and support for each participant. We limit class sizes to ensure that everyone has the space and support they need to practice safely and effectively.

Q: How do I schedule a class?

A: It’s easy! We have a user-friendly & secure software system to assist you in reserving a class. Click SCHEDULE, select your location, create a username and password, and use it to schedule, purchase and track your visit history.

Q: What if the class I want to reserve is full?

A: You can add yourself to the waitlist for any class that is fully booked.  If a spot opens up to 6 hour before class start time, you will get an automated confirmation email or text (you can customize preferred communication in your account). Please help us get everyone who wants a spot in the class - if you joined the waitlist but can no longer attend, please cancel your waitlist reservation so the next client on the list can be let in.

6 hours before the class start time (when the late cancel policy for the class goes into effect), the “fastest fingers” rule comes into play. If a spot becomes available, the system will automatically send a email/SMS to everyone who is still on the waitlist, asking if they’d like the spot. The first person to respond to the SMS accepting the spot will be booked into the class. A follow up email/SMS will be sent to all who responded to let you know whether or not you got the spot. (you can adjust whether you want to receive this notification by SMS or email in your account). 

Q: Can I cancel or reschedule a class?

A: Yes, we offer a 6 hour cancellation period.  If you know you won't be able to make it to class, simply log into your account and cancel your reservation for free prior to 6 hours of your class time.  "Late Cancel" is cancelling a class less than 6 hours in advance of the class you cannot attend.  "No Show" is failing to attend a reserved class and failing to cancel ahead of time.  Unlimited class members who late cancel or no show will be charged a €‎15 fee; clients who reserved with a class card will lose that class credit. We enforce this policy to ensure all clients have a fair opportunity to reserve a class.  Please do not call or email or write us on social media to cancel or reschedule your class.  All cancellations must be done online through your account.  This helps prevent any miscommunication or missed calls/messages.  We appreciate your cooperation and understanding

Q: Can I use my subscription or class card at all studio locations?

A: Yes, your subscription or class card can be used at all of our locations.

Q: How can I make a payment for a subscription or class card?

A: Payments can be made online through our website. We accept a variety of payment methods, including credit card, debit card, cash, payconiq, and wire transfer (please email us for bank details).

Q: Do you offer private or semi-private classes?

A: At the moment we are only able to offer private group classes. Please contact the studio for more information.

Q: What best to wear for a class?

A:We recommend wearing comfortable, breathable clothing that allows for movement. Grip socks are recommended for the majority of our classes. For aerial classes, please wear grip socks and a shirt with sleeves for hygiene of the hammocks and to protect your skin from chafing.

Q: Are there any age restrictions for classes?

A: Participants must be 16 years or older to attend our classes (for special exceptions, please email approval at hello@risebarrepilates.lu)

Q: What language are the classes held in?

A: All of our classes are held in English.

Q: Are mats provided at the studio?

A: We prefer you bring your own mat, but we have mats to borrow at the studio if needed.

Q: Can I try a class before committing to a subscription or class card?

A: Absolutely! We offer a special deal for newcomers - 3 classes for €50. This is a great way to try out our classes and see if they are right for you.

Q: Do I need to be experienced in Barre or Pilates or Aerial to take a class at rise?

A: No, our all levels classes are suitable for students of all levels. For intermediate - advanced level classes, we obviously recommend for experienced clients only. Our instructors will provide modifications and variations to accommodate different abilities.

Q: Are there changing facilities and showers at the studio?

A: All of our locations have changing facilities - only Limpertsberg & OASIS have showers.

Q: Is there parking available at the studio?

A: There is limited parking available at all of our locations. We recommend using public transportation or carpooling whenever possible.
